Flora does too? All the trips to Thailand don’t count cause they are work trips and there’s no relaxing to be had! So we looked at Asia Pacific, namely Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, HK etc. And she’s horrible! lol I wanted somewhere 10 degrees colder than Singapore cause hello that would be heaven and she’s totally exaggerating. She claims she needs to wear 4 – 6 layers when it’s 14 degrees celsius. It’s a standard 2 layer temperature!
So mean right! haha, she doesn’t want to lemme enjoy the cool weather and wants me to melt
Why go to taipei when it’s 25 degrees c.????
*WHINE*
But they’re pretty fast with helping us to get around to different parts of Bangkok. So I guess on some level it evens out? But still, eeew.

A pretty nice shot imo, mostly because of this super pretty iPhone app, hipstamatic. There was this dead fish over 1 foot long just floating along the river, plus other junk and the splash zone is super high and the river water got on my face and hair
Sad times.

Zach never changes his shirt???
^ what it says. But in that nice relaxy way you get from cough meds?
Anyhow, got back from Bangkok 2 days ago, the flight back was tortuous. There was this huge guy behind me who was snoring before the plane even took off and never stopped the whole way back. I couldn’t get to sleep because I left my earphones behind at the apartment, not to mention my shades and my ghds. All of which I could live without for a month except my ghds, cause hello I need
Anyway, Zach’s helping me ship it back so I’ll hopefully get it tomorrow. I wanted to do some kind of travelogue for the trip? But clearly I can’t be arsed to take photos of anything much, I got some iphone photos on the river taxi though, cause it was so dirty and horrible. (photos next time!) Reports of unrest seem greatly exaggerated though.
Last night ended grumpily, can’t believe that I sat around for an hour apparently just waiting for people to go home and wasted my high? So lame, left on my own and bought cup noodles home which totally cheered me up!
Ate both when I got home, so happy
I’m really psyched to go Bangkok this month? I was so dreading it the past few times, but I can’t wait
Red Mango, here I come!
Jager is bad for you. If you and your girlfriend think members is too crowded and decide to head to a less crowded part of Zouk, don’t buy a bottle of Jager between the two of you. I nearly died from the pain and nausea.
So because of my bad decisions (not just mine apparently, Flora says her cousin was there too and got massively smashed), I put off work till now. Writing product descriptions is hardly fun :/ But at least it doesn’t take too long. It’s really not that hard I think? Just a bit tedious.
But at least I don’t write things like this, so it doesn’t actually take that long per product.
I remember the days where granny used to sit on the rocking chair all day, staring into the television box and doing what she does best. Her favorite past-time was knitting and the only time she’d stop was to feed Chacha the dog and herself. The knits that she mae were extraordinary and the neighbors would constantyl scramble over every noon to check on her latest designs. She was a genius. This beautiful intricate piece reminds me of her kind of knits. Elegant and simple. Understated beauty. Featuring Chantilly lace with frilly collar neckline from front to back and sleeve and zipper from neckline to hem. Dress it up with a simple skirt or go edgy with a denim cut off. Made of Chantilly Lace.
^ that is entirely real, true story. Once I found one with a ridiculous little story about imagining that you’re a squirrel… for a dress (or something. *headdesk*
Flora asked me on MSN, what is a “maverick” because she had 6 different people with that one same nickname. I figure I just had to post this because of how ironic it is? It’s made up of so much fail how each of them probably think it’s cool and independent and unique they each are when they’re kind of all the same? For me, any time I hear maverick, I’ll just think of Sarah Palin, LOL.
Work’s been tedious and boring, I kind of really want to be in Bangkok right now for the beef noodles. I’ve been craving it for the past few days now and also Red Mango!
Got insanely drunk over the weekend, had not one or two but a total of four of us with memory black out of sorts. Random pics here:

no more booze please!

Also, I don’t know why my toilet smells of puke after my maid cleans it? No one else’s toilet seems to be having the same issue, then again, I don’t go to anyone else’s really. :/

i think all the smoke in the air makes it look all kind of pretty. also came to the conclusion that i look very looong.
I had a discussion where the boyfriend and I discussed random stats. Apparently there are only 12 cars to every 100 people in Singapore. Not because we’re terribly terribly poor or something but because of how expensive cars here cost (not to mention housing) and something like 80% of people live in government housing. For the uninformed, the cheapest Japanese/Korean cars cost at least 30k USD and government housing here costs over 130k for 3 room apartments, not 3 bedrooms, but 3 rooms total.
I think I have it pretty good in life. The thing about having it good is that you have this skewed perception of reality? Among all my friends I only know of one good friend who lives in government housing and most families have 2 cars minimum. Maybe it’s because of the way the government splits good students from the poorer ones once we’re 13 years old, it creates a divide. You mix with people who’re just about as smart as you are and since intelligence is due partially to genetics, their families are also relatively as well off. So you never really know how others live.
On the bright side, did you know that apparently with 120 (or 125 I forget) IQ points, you’re smarter than 95% of the world’s population?
